When HSV took over from Brock - HDT several employees regrouped under the APV name to release a version of the EA Falcon called SR3900. During the period of 1988-1990 around 200 personally modified EA series Ford Falcons, Fairmont Ghias, Fairlanes and Mavericks were produced through Austech Automotive Developments. This organisation would last no longer than a year due to Ford signing with Tickford.
