This is the car that Brock raced at all 3 Targa Tasmania events. It was also the second year that Anne Gigney navigated for Brock. Brock/Gigney found themselves out of contention after hitting a pothole and damaging the left front tyre. After changing the wheel the pair received a compulsory 2 minute penalty. Brock also misjudged a corner putting the Monaro through a wire fence on the final stage (Natene). This damage is still visible on the car today.
