2002 Targa Monaro

This was the last year the father & son combination of Peter & James Brock would race together.

The CV8 Monaro was one of 2 cars provided by Holden for the 2002 Targa Tasmania Rally. The second Monaro (No. 50) was driven by Steven Richards and navigated by Gerry Bashford.

The car suffered serious front end damage when they misjudged a corner. On occasions Brock used car 50 for other events dressed in 05 livery, the car was sold to foreign interests. Car 05 was raced again at the 2003 and 2004 Targa Tasmania.
