Since the move to HRT in 1994, Brock claimed 2 consecutive 3rd placings in the ATCC. Thomas Mezera teamed with Brock at Sandown and Bathurst. It wasn't all plain sailing for '05'. They failed to finish the Sandown 500 and a blown engine on lap 32 forced them out of Bathurst.

One of the last races of the year was the 'Peter Brock Classic', a day night race at Calder Park. Brock put '05' on Pole and then went on to win the race.
